DUTIES: Develop an understanding of company’s needs and take actions to ensure that such needs are met. Manage subcontractor activities, reviewing proposals, and developing performance specifications. Develop proposals that include documentation for estimates. Review company logistics performance with management against targets, and benchmarks. Direct availability and allocation of materials, supplies, and inventory. Design the movement of inventory to maximize value and minimize costs. Explain proposed solutions to management, or other interested parties through written proposals and oral presentations. Collaborate with management to take advantage of sales opportunities or, in the case of shortages, to minimize negative impacts on company’s business. Report project plans, progress, and results. Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities, such as maintenance planning, repair analysis, and test equipment recommendations.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or foreign degree equivalent, and 1 year of experience on the job.
